Sherwood!

AJ and Justin love the band Sherwood! So obviously when they found out they were coming to concert to provo we bought tickets! (yes that is how much they love Sherwood.... they would go to Provo) I was excited when I found out it was going to be in a club setting because even though I don't know much of their music, concerts are usually fun in small intimate settings. Before the concert we met the boys at In and Out burger. Allie and I had a good talk on the way down and it made me feel a lot closer to her. Which I was really happy about! In and out was delicious though that was kinda a given. At the concert the opening act was amazing. So you think I would remember his name but sadly I don't. I seriously don't remember anything these days. Am I that old? I am only 21! I can't imagine what it will be like when I am 50.  I really enjoyed him though.  I wanted to buy his CD kind of and I probably should have. He kinda reminded me of John Mayer but he was just a local artist that I guess plays at that venue all the time! Sherwood definitely put on a good show. My favorite part had to be when they sang a cover of Party In The USA. It was hilarious. The lead singer of Sherwood was standing in the back during some of the other bands just hanging out. I kept telling the boys they should go get him to sign Justin's head! They wussed out! That would of been the best picture ever dang it! OH and one last thing I forgot. The lead singer of one of the other bands looked just like AJ's cousin Andy. It was sooo creepy!

Mustache Bash!

All I have to say is BEST PARTY EVER!.............. OK I lied that isn't all I have to say! First of all everyone looked ridiculous! Even AJ with his natural mustache though he argues that he looked fantastic. Sorry baby! For food we ate mustache shaped lollipops, mustache shaped cookies, deviled eggs with mustaches, and pizza with a peperoni mustache. We also ate pull and peel licorice in mustache shape and mountain dew cake! Which reminds me I need to get that recipe from Jenny cause OH MY GOSH! It was sooooo amazing! I made AJ eat it for breakfast cause it was tempting me! Brady brought the Wii over and we played Super Mario Brothers and Mario Kart (you know.... because the mustaches). It was a lot of fun even though Jason would always try to kill all of us in Super Mario Brothers (Note to Jason: We were all on the same team)! After playing the Wii for a while we played spoons... but instead of spoons..... you guessed it mustaches! It is actually a really fun game. I told AJ we should play it next time we go to our parents houses. Then we played Funglish, if you haven't played/ and or heard of this game you need to go buy it. I love it! AJ and I dominated even with Brady and Emily trying to mess with us. That is right bramily (see what I did there) bring it ...! All and all it was two words...... legend ......... Dairy ........... that's right LEGENDARY!

F.Y.I. (We have decided to make this an annual event...... please mark your calendars next year to grow a mustache in march.... No matter how ridiculous you look)

Jason and Jenny won most artistic. They got a giant poster of AJ! I am jealous.

Allie won best girl mustache and received the I love mustaches tote! Alton won most pathetic and he received mustache cling on things you put on the mirror.

Emily won hairiest mustache and got a sweet switchblade mustache comb. Brady won creepiest and received I love mustache undies. HA HA HA

AJ won best overall and got this awesome T shirt! We totally rigged it! ;) just kidding.

Happy Birthday AJ!

AJ you are everything I have ever wanted in a husband. My whole life I thought I would have to settle and my standards were too high. You are proof that you don't have to settle! You are my soul mate and I don't care how corny it sounds. You are mine, there is no other person on this earth that could make me this happy. I know with all my heart that heavenly father brought us together. We both had awful trials to go through before meeting each other but like you always say. I would go through all of those trials a million times over if it meant you were the reward. AJ you are so kind and loving. You never lose your temper and you always treat me with such respect. Not just anyone could make me feel this much like a princess. So far every day of our life together has been so amazing. I can't wait for all the new adventures and surprises we have waiting around the corner. Thank you for being the perfect husband. I love you! Happy Birthday sweet heart.!!!!!

Disney on Ice!

AJ's family was nice enough to invite us with them to Disney on Ice! Even though we are childless we definitely enjoyed it! The look on Lincoln's face was priceless when the cars came out OH MY GOSH! I love spending time with his family. OK... So... I feel like such a dork admitting this but there were the cutest little flower hats that came on top of a bag of cotton candy and I wanted one sooo bad! I resisted though.. I was not going to spend ten bucks on a flower hat that I would never use and cotton candy that would make me fat! Luckily Kenny got one (much more practical for her) so I was able to get a picture in the hat! I was so happy! It's funny that a picture in a flower hat could make me so happy! ( I may have kinda talked kenny in to getting it though)

Honeymoon!

I realized I never posted anything about our honeymoon! What is wrong with me! We went to Cancun. Which is extremely different than I thought it was. I always picture mtv spring break when I think of Cancun. It was surprisingly a really relaxing nice getaway! Our hotel was GORGEOUS. They had the best Pina coladas ever (non-alcoholic of course). We limited ourselves to one a day but oh man I could of easily had ten a day! Our Balcony had a beautiful view of the beach and the best shower ever. It also had a baday.... kinda weird! We had so much fun. The only bummer thing is it was pretty cold when we were down there. We couldn't really lay out without freezing. It was weird though the water was still way warm. We could play in the water all day but laying out was not all that fun. One night it was raining and we decided to take a walk on the beach. It is one of my favorite memories. Sucking down Pina coladas and walking along the beach having randomly big waves soak our clothes. It was the best. OH YA and on our wedding night we stayed at the anniversary inn in the Swiss Family Robinson suite. The "waterfall" that went in to the jacuzzi tub was pretty funny. It was kinda fun to spend our first night married in a tree house bed I must say!

xehlha! It was so gorgeous. We snorkled that whole channel and saw some super awesome fish! There was this Giant one that AJ followed around for about five mintues!

More pina coladas at xehlha! So funny story... when you come in to the park there are people with parrots and iguanas that you can get pictures with. So AJ and I get tons of pictures with them. The last picture AJ got with a bird on his head and one on his arm. At the beginning of the picture he felt something warm go down his back. Oh ya ....bird poop all the way down his back. He was freaking out and I couldn't walk with him to help him get cleaned off because I was hysterically laughing. I'm such a jerk.

After a few hours of snorkeling. See it was kinda overcast. That is pretty much how it was the whole time we were there. It was kinda cold.

We were sad to leave but excited to get back and really start our life together. Our plane ended up being five hours late and we missed our connecting flight and didn't have our bags!!!! That was the longest most exhausting day of my life. I am just glad I was stuck with AJ he made it way better. Now we are home and you know the rest. We are happier than we have ever been.

Memoirs of a Mustache

Oh how accustomed I have become, to people looking at me like I'm scum.
The adventures and the stories will never be forgotten, that upper lip warmer cannot be boughten.
It is true the month is nearly passed, the misplaced eyebrow I've worn each day, will meet its last.
Tears will be shed for the little muzzy, that dot and dash we all love to see.
The soup strainer's days are numbered and few, and the massacre of the upper lip plumage shall be true.
But oh... the wondrous life that mouser has had, the people that face fungus has made so darn mad.
The changes on the world that old lip tickler has created. Alas this stache will soon be cremated!
In our hearts the nose neighbor will live on, whether fu manchu, walrus or as the chevron.
All enemies the lip patch does somehow thwart, and why can't each man a face hog sport?
So clean your clothes and give em some starch, and be ready to plant some lip spinach next March!
Although the flavor saver will end on this day, you have not seen the last of my tash I say!
"Long live the cookie duster" said with a sigh, next year we'll bring back the Magnum PI
So now its the end of this face furniture freestyle, with love and respect to that hairy lip pile.

Test drama!

A few weeks ago I had scheduled my practical test for my esthetician license. I scheduled it for a Wednesday at 5 at night (so I thought) so I could take it after work that day! The night before AJ and I went over everything, to make sure I had all the little steps down, til about 12:30. I was so excited and nervous as I went over to the test center. As I pull up I noticed there are absolutely no cars in the parking lot. So of course I start to panic a little bit. I walked to the front and tried the door just to find it was locked! I was really early so I told myself they just haven't opened the center up yet. Starting to feel my anxiety bubbling up I hurry and pull out my phone to look up there website!  After searching frantically for a number I could call with no success I logged in to look and see all the specifics of the test (date, time, place). I pulled up my schedule and find the test just to see it says I was absent! I look over at the date and the test was on Tuesday!!!!!! I thought I had scheduled it for Wednesday from the beginning! As I realize what has happened I start to cry and freak out in a mini panic attack. I was sure they wouldn't let me make it up for a month and I would have to pay another 90 dollars ( because that is what they make you do if you fail). I called AJ pretty much hysterical and explain what happened. Of course AJ being the amazing man that he is talks to me, calms me down and explains that everything will be alright we just need to deal with it! So I go back to our apartment and start deep cleaning.Trying to get my mind off of things until tommorow when I can call the headquarters and hopefully talk them into letting me take it sooner. Later that night my friend from school texts me to ask how I did! Embarrassed out of my mind I tell her the whole story and how I now have to wait a month! She then precedes  to tell me she missed her first test cause of traffic. She explains that I will have to pay another 90 dollars but I can take the test as soon as possible! It still stinks that I have to pay the money but at least I can take the test next week! AJ being the positive bug he is told me it was a good thing cause now I have even more time to prepare! So I better pass with this extra time I gave myself! I am so grateful Heavenly father blessed me with such an amazing husband that knows just what to say and just how to make me feel better!  So anyways everyone better wish me luck for next week! I hope I can get the date right this time!
