Denise... I love you!

So today is just one of those days where you take a minute, sit back and think about how blessed your life really is. Am I the only one who does that? Probably not, I'm sure a lot of people do it. Well today I was doing that, for the bettter part of the day one blessing kept coming to my mind, Denise Marie Mullins.
When Denise and I met there was just something about her that made me want to be with her for the rest of my life and for forever. I could talk to her, I could joke with her, and I could be my really random weird self with her. It was so great! On our first date I picked her up and before we had even made it down the street she had grabbed my iPod turned on Aerosmith and started scream singing it at the top of her lungs telling me and Brady that we needed to join in. I pulled a Mosby and immediately I fell for her. She told me she was terrible at bowling that night, but I believe in the first game she killed me, I kept telling her that she was telling me she was bad just so that I'd go easy on her and then she could beat me. She swore that she had never bowled that well in her life, she proved it on the second game ;)
Denise convinced me one day to buy a game called Left 4 Dead, and to get xbox live again so we could play it online. I did as I was told and we would spend hours sitting on my couch killing zombies together. We even bought huge safety pins so we could build a fort around the living room and play Left 4 Dead in our fort but I ended up moving before we could do that. We saved the pins though and will get to use them in the living room in our own home in January.
So many things about Denise led me to fall in love with her, but the thing that I saw in her that really made it all happen was her love for the Gospel, for the Savior and for our Father in Heaven. From the very first day that I talked to Denise she has helped me want to be a better person. She has lifted me up and helped me to become stronger and closer to my Heavenly Father.
Denise, I cannot express in words the love that I feel for you in my heart. You are my everything, I have never been so happy and so in love! Whether its walking around ikea, playing xbox, watching football or reading our scriptures I love what we are doing because its with you. In a few weeks we will be sealed together for all of eternity, I cannot wait to be with you forever, to have little BTWs running around us making us crazy. You are the most amazing person that I have ever met and I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for putting me on the path to find you and to find the happiness and love that you have given to me.
Thank you for making me a better person, for picking me up and helping me to be who I am today. Thank you for loving everything about me, including the weird stuff, like when I rap songs that shouldn't be rapped or when I quote movies over and over, or continuously annoy you until you're probably wondering why you ever agreed to go on a second date with me. Each morning I wake up and look around my room at 61 sticky notes, each one stating a different reason that you love me, and I think about how lucky I am to have been through all of the trials I have been through in order to finally get to you.
I love you Denise, I will always love you and I will do everything that I can to show you that I love you, each and every day.

IKEA DATE!

So Friday night we decided we needed to get out and do something just us! We have been so busy planning and doing family things we hadn't done anything in a while. (plus we are trying to save money). So we decided to go down to eat at In & Out Burger in Draper. Which was extremely quick (and oh so delicious) especially for a friday night! We were literally in and out! (HA HA HA) Then we decided to go walk around Ikea, which was a blast. We didn't realize they closed at 9! We had only walked around about a third of the store when they started to kick everyone out! We were super bummed. So we walked around Walmart instead! We had a sword fight with these awesome toy swords that feel really hard and hit against each other hard but don't hurt you! They were AWESOME!

P.S. ( moral of the story is we really want those swords for christmas! I mean how awesome would it be to come home from work to find your spouse waiting with a sword ready to have a sword fight! I KNOW RIGHT!)

Park City Madness!

So during Thanksgiving we all went and stayed up in a condo in park city with AJ's Aunt and Uncle, His parents, And his little brother Brady! I really wanted to go to the Tanger Outlets Midnight Madness thing. So AJ, Brady, and I went over at about 11 figuring it would be packed and an hour early would be best. To our surprise almost all the stores were already open and doing their sales! So we got all the deals with none of the crowds. We ended up staying until about 2 in the morning wandering around looking at the deals! (Only bought about 4 presents though). At 2 it got a bit insane. I saw a man trying to run over a guy standing in a parking stall trying to save it. IT WAS CRAZY! So we headed back to the condo and slept! The next day we shopped probably until about 6! Not really buying anything more just trying on stuff and going in all the cool stores on main street in park city! It was a really fun day! We went to baja cantina one of my families favorite restaurants! Which i have some fun pictures from! I'm so glad that AJ's family let me come up with them!

Wedding Invitations!

Hooray!! The invites are done! So if you gave us your address then of course you will get one! Some of you will automatically already get one, and if you don't think you are on one of those lists you should probably give us your address so you don't get left out. Here is what our invite looks like. Obviously the blurred out section won't be blurred but we didn't want to have any strangers showing up for the free food! :) Tell us what you think!

Eternal Happiness!!!!!

We have only told a few people but we just wanted to announce how happy and excited we are about the news we are about to share! We are going to be married in the temple for time and all eternity! We are so grateful and wanted to tell everyone how happy we are about this news. There is no greater blessing than to be able to spend eternity with the person you love more than anything in the world. :D We are currently working on our announcements if you would like one be sure to email us with your information. Photo Booth Fun

Denise and I got a little carried away with the photo booth app on my laptop today. We were working on the wedding invitation and got a little bored so we did this in between.

I just wanted to say I AM SO GRATEFUL!!! I can't believe how lucky I am to have met AJ! I know without a doubt that there is not one person in this whole universe that could be more perfect for me in every way! Though that isn't what i wanted to talk about. I just wanted to take a minute to say I am so unbelievably grateful that he has such a kind, nice, caring family! They are so giving and unselfish it is ridiculous. So a few nights ago I was just talking to Lynette about my brothers fiance and how I wanted to give her bracelet to put on this watch face I already had! Of course, being the wonderfully nice person she is, she offers to let me use her beads. It was late and she was getting ready to go to St. George with Heidi, So of course I wasn't expecting to do it that night. She totally just gets all the stuff out and starts helping me make one. She even enlisted the help of Allen several times, who jumped up and helped even though he was in the middle of watching his show. It was just so kind to take the time to do that. That is just one of the many many nice things they have done. You know there is this stigma that says your supposed to not really like your future in laws........I must say i love every single one of them. I am so glad they are now a part of my life! They are kind and giving and completely accept me into the family. I am gaining not only the perfect husband from this marriage, But the perfect second family I LOVE THEM! On a similar note Kamie invited me to go to Bunko on tuesday, which i have never played before(she was right im hooked after one time). I won this adorable sign to put in my house. The food was SOOO good and Kamie's friends were hilarious and so nice. It was a blast. I really need to start up a bunko group with some of my friends! Anyone in???

Fatal Error!

Phew! Horrific story time! Hold on to your seat/mouse/keyboard/whatever! So everyone should know that I am kinda into computers and technology. If you read my blog at all about a year ago you would have seen a post called Mac Daddy. This was the post where I got my new macbook, I was super excited about it! Well that macbook has served me well for the past year until this last Saturday. (*Note - I run the macbook night and day, probably push the ram too far a lot of the time). On Saturday I was copying some files to a hard drive and the transfer stalled so I tried to quit the transfer and restart it, but the macbook wasn't responding to me. So I switched it off and switched it back on, it went to the white startup screen and hung, and hung, and hung. So switched it off and back on and it went to the startup screen and hung for a minute then shut off. I was a little nervous but thought it had to be ok. So I let it sit for a few hours before I tried again, the result? Same thing happened. So I removed the battery... no help. Denise found some trouble shooting ideas for me and I tried all of them to no avail.
Finally frustrated and nervous that I was going to have to buy a new macbook and start all over I made an appointment at the genius bar, after waiting for about 30 minutes one of the geniuses plugged an external drive in and booted OS X on my machine, he said that the drive was somehow corrupted and would need to be wiped clean.
72 hours later, my drive has been backed up the hard drive wiped and OS X reinstalled, now I'm just finishing installing the last of the software that I need in order to finish some work that I am over due on. Sorry!
I share this story because of how stressed out it made me, with the car problems I just had and the wedding coming up soon, the last thing Denise and I needed was to have to shell out some major bucks for a new macbook (although Denise told me if I had to buy a new one to get a macbook pro so that we wouldn't have to worry about me overworking it (She's awesome!), so that was the drawback of me being able to fix it :D ). The macbook being fixed was an answer to our prayers, literally!
Now I've been trying to convince her since we basically saved $1700 on me not buying a new laptop that we should get a mac mini, I mean come on its only $700, thats a huge saving! :) Love you Denise! Thanks for being patient with my expensive problems! :)

Best Fiance... EVER!

Ok so I thought I would take a minute to tell everyone how awesome my fiance is, the other day I came home from work and she was at my house. I walked down into my room and I found sticky notes all over my room.





Each sticky note had a reason that she loves me, or something that she loves about me. Come on! I'm not that lovable... so to fill out this many sticky notes about me, is... well its pretty much a miracle right? And then a couple of days later she gave me a present that she bought for where ever we end up living.



I saw this door mat at the store when we were shopping and I carried it around the store with us then I decided not to buy it, so she went back to the store and got it for me. She is the best!

Denise I love you! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you! Thank you!

Hello World!

Hello to all of our family and friends! Denise and I decided that we needed to have a blog that we could both contribute our weird stuff to! So here we will write about all of our adventures as we start and live our lives together. We are so excited to be together forever and we can't wait to be able to share all of our craziness with all of you.
